10 killed as militants attack bus in NE Kenya

WAJIR, Kenya, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- At least ten people were killed and unknown others injured after suspected al-Shabab militants attacked a commuter bus on Friday at a location in northeast Kenya, the police said.

Stephen Ngetich, Wajir county police commander who confirmed the incident, saying the Medina Bus plying Nairobi-Mandera was attacked by the Islamist militants on Friday evening between Wargadadud and Kutulo town in Wajir county.
