SHENYANG, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Liaoning Flying Leopards' Guo Ailun and Lance Stephenson combined 52 points, helping the home side win 117-104 over Nanjing Monkey Kings here on Tuesday in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league.
Five players of Liaoning posted double-digit points. The chemistry between guard Guo Ailun and forward Stephenson gives the match some fresh air. They each got 26 points and combined for 10 assists. Center Han Dejun made a double-double with a team-high 12 rebounds and 20 points. Zhao Jiwei proved himself as an excellent individual defender for a guard by contributed a game-high five steals and added 19 points including three 3-pointers.
Nanjing's Joseph Young recorded a game-high 37 points plus 8 assists. Hamed Haddadi added 19 points and 14 rebounds for the visiting team.
Zhao Jiwei's 3-pointers launched Liaoning a 10-2 run in the fourth quarter and gave the hosts a 10-point advantage. Nanjing failed to fight back before the final whistle, only to see Liaoning claimed its second straight win.
