5.2-magnitude quake hits 219km ESE of Lambasa, Fiji -- USGS

BEIJING, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted 219 km ESE of Lambasa, Fiji at 19:04:32 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 575.27 km, was initially determined to be at 17.4358 degrees south latitude and 178.854 degrees west longitude.
