ALTAY, Jan. 4, 2020 (Xinhua) -- Located in central Altay Mountains in northern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the Kanas scenic area is a national 5A tourist attraction, with impressive scenery of lakes, glaciers, forests and grasslands.
The number of visitors to Kanas has seen a rapid growth in 2019 thanks to the rapid development of tourism in Xinjiang, as well as the improvement of infrastructure and better service in the area.
