LAUSANNE, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- South Korean rising star figure skater You Young delivered another wonderful show on Monday, claiming the title of women's single at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games.
You finished Monday's free skating session with a total of 140.49 points. Along with the 73.51 points she got from the short program, You secured the title with 214.00 points.
Kseniia Sinitsyna from Russia took the silver with 200.03 points. The bronze went to anther Russian girl Anna Frolova who finished with 187.72 points.
15-year-old You Young was seen as one of the top favorites in Lausanne. She won her fourth South Korean national title days before the start of the YOG with a successful Triple-Axel jump and a total of 220.20 points.
