Shanghai discharges 10 more patients recovered from novel coronavirus

SHANGHAI, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Ten patients infected with the novel coronavirus were discharged from hospital after recovery in Shanghai Thursday, according to local health commission.

This was the largest number of patients discharged on the same day since the first cured case on Jan. 24.

By 12 a.m. Thursday, Shanghai had confirmed 257 cases of novel coronavirus infections. A total of 25 patients had been cured, accounting for 10 percent of the confirmed cases.

All patients with novel coronavirus infection are now being treated in the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center.
