"The Lung of Lhasa" rejuvenated in early Spring

Lhalu Wetland National Nature Reserve, known as "the Lung of Lhasa", gets rejuvenated as temperature rises.


LHASA, Feb. 25, 2020 (Xinhua) -- Lhalu Wetland National Nature Reserve is located in the suburbs of Lhasa, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The wetlands are completely surrounded by Lhasa.

The reserve used to be an urban park and was gradually transformed into a national nature reserve. It plays an important role in safeguardig the ecological balance as well as the environment of Lhasa city.
