BEIRUT, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese Health Ministry announced on Wednesday the detection of a second case of coronavirus in Lebanon, the National News Agency reported.
The second infected person discovered in Lebanon arrived on an Iranian plane on Feb. 20. The patient showed symptoms on Feb. 24 and was isolated at Rafic Hariri Hospital.
The ministry said that the patient's health is currently stable and a medical team will follow up on the health of her family members.
Lebanese Health Minister Hamad Hassan announced on Feb. 21 the detection of the first coronavirus case.
The health ministry announced that it is isolating people arriving from areas with confirmed cases if they show symptoms of the virus while those who do not show symptoms are either isolated at the hospital or in their houses.
