BEIJING, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Monday sent a congratulatory message to Muhyiddin Yassin on his assuming office as Malaysia's new prime minister.
In his congratulatory message, Li said that China and Malaysia are traditional friendly neighbors and important cooperative partners, and their bilateral relations have maintained a sound momentum of development.
Li added that he is looking forward to working with Muhyiddin to continue to deepen the China-Malaysia comprehensive strategic partnership, promote greater achievements in the cooperation of jointly building the Belt and Road, and push the China-ASEAN cooperation to a higher level, so as to better benefit the two countries and peoples. ■
