Song Tianzhu herds a flock of yaks in Nannigou Village of Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, northwest China's Gansu Province, March 12, 2020. Taking full advantage of local vast grasslands and government's financial support for impoverished regions, the annual household income of Song Tianzhu's family has reached 200,000 yuan (about 28,553 U.S. dollars) through livestock breeding and tourism. In addition, Song took the lead in the foundation of a cooperative to boost other villagers' incomes.
