Shi Zhichun is a native of Shibadong, a mountainous village of the Miao ethnic group in central China's Hunan. In 2017, he returned to the village to teach English after postgraduate study, becoming the first postgraduate back to work here after study. In recently years, Shi has acted to help his hometown develop. Together with another two undergraduates who were also back the village after study, he makes videos to promote his hometown and helps locals sell specialties by live streaming.
