DAMASCUS, April 16 (Xinhua) -- A Turkish military convoy of 40 military vehicles entered northern Syria on Thursday, a war monitor reported.
The convoy, which contained military gears and logistics, entered areas in the countryside of Idlib province in northwestern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
It's the latest military reinforcement to enter northern Syria and be deployed to Turkish military observation points in Idlib, said the Britain-based watchdog group.
The observatory said 2,635 Turkish military vehicles have entered Idlib since a Turkish-Russian-backed cease-fire entered into force in Idlib on March 5. Enditem
