BEIJING, April 28 (Xinhua) -- Senior students have returned to schools in many provinces and regions around China.
In Beijing, nearly 50,000 senior students of high schools returned to campus to start their postponed new semester on Monday as the COVID-19 epidemic situation has been eased. Many schools have launched educational activities themed on epidemic prevention and control as their first class after reopening.

Shanghai partially reopened high schools on Monday, with seniors being the first batch to resume classes on campus.
Based on relevant regulations, teachers and students should be offered masks and places like the canteen, dormitories, classrooms, washing basins and toilets should be disinfected regularly every day.

In southern China's Guangdong, students in their final year of middle and high schools returned to school on April 27, while students in primary and middle school can resume school life from May 11.
