DAMASCUS, May 3 (Xinhua) -- The Syrian Airlines will bring back Syrians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as of Monday, the Syrian Transportation Ministry said on Sunday.
In a statement, the ministry said the Syrian Airlines, the official airline in the country, will start trips to a number of world countries to bring back Syrians who are stuck as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.
On Monday, the airlines will bring a number of Syrians back to the country from the UAE, the ministry said.
It added that the arrivals will be taken to an isolation center where they will spend 14 days as part of the anti-COVID-19 measures.
Over the past week, Syrians were brought back to the country from Russia and Armenia. Enditem
