CHANGCHUN, May 22 (Xinhua) -- Two new confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported in northeast China's Jilin Province on Thursday, the provincial health commission said Friday.
The provincial health commission said both the two domestically transmitted cases in Fengman District in the city of Jilin were close contacts with earlier confirmed cases in the district.
As of Thursday, the province had reported a total of 135 confirmed locally transmitted cases, including two deaths and 108 who had been discharged from hospital after recovery.
There are still 25 patients receiving treatment in hospital, with three in severe condition, all in the city of Jilin, and 1,341 people in close contact with the locally transmitted cases under medical observation. Enditem
