JINGHE, July 15 (Xinhua) -- As over 100,000 mu (about 6,667 hectares) of goji berries in Jinghe county are ripening, farmers have been busy with the harvesting work here these days in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
Thanks to dry weather, adequate sunshine, and a large temperature difference between day and night, Jinghe County becomes a place suitable for growing the high-quality goji berries.
To help increase the income of local farmers, local authorities have stepped up financial support to develop goji berry industrial chain and meanwhile made great effort to promote their products.
