Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region reported 41 new confirmed domestically transmitted COVID-19 cases on Sunday, the regional health commission said Monday. By Sunday, Xinjiang had 178 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 170 asymptomatic cases. A large number of the COVID-19 patients are with mild symptoms, while patients in severe and critical conditions are relatively few, Lu Chen, deputy head of the region's expert panel for treating COVID-19, said in a recent interview with Xinhua. He added that tailored treatment plays an important role in fighting COVID-19.
