Wang Zhelin and Jeremy Lin become the latest winners of CBA Player of the Week award.
BEIJING, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Fujian Sturgeons center Wang Zhelin and Beijing Ducks guard Jeremy Lin have been announced as winners of the Chinese Basketball Association Player of the Week award.
Wang posted an average of 35.0 points, 19.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals in the final two matches of the regular season, leading Fujian to winning both and securing the final spot of the CBA playoffs.
The 12th-ranked Fujian side will take on the Zhejiang Lions in the round of 12 on Friday.

Lin averaged 27.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals as Beijing registered a win-loss record of 1-1 in the last two games.
Beijing ranks fourth on the standings, enjoying a bye in the first round of the playoffs. ■
