BEIJING, July 30 (Xinhua) -- A book about the battle against the COVID-19 epidemic in Wuhan, the virus-ravaged city in central China's Hubei Province, has been published.
The book unfurls with stories in five parts, including responding to the outbreak, fighting a people's war against the epidemic, and the gradually eased situation.
Gathering over 100 pictures, more than 80 video clips and nearly 100 articles, the all-media book records the city's extraordinary experience combating the epidemic from the establishment of the city's headquarters for COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control on Jan. 20 to the lifting of the "lockdown" of Wuhan on April 8.
Collectively written by journalists of Xinhua News Agency, China's state news agency, the book aims to recall the country's arduous efforts in containing the epidemic in Wuhan.
The book has been published by Xinhua Publishing House and is available across the country. Enditem
