JERUSALEM, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Israel's Ministry of Health reported 1,153 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, bringing the total to 92,233.
According to the ministry, the number of death cases reached 674, with nine new death cases, while the number of patients in serious condition increased from 375 to 387, out of 846 patients currently hospitalized.
The number of recoveries reached 67,951, with 986 new recoveries, while the number of active cases rose to 23,608.
On Sunday, a restriction that limits gatherings to a maximum of 30 people in open spaces will take effect in Israel, following a decision taken Friday by the state's Corona Cabinet. Enditem
