BEIRUT, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon's Higher Defense Council decided on Wednesday to file a complaint to the United Nations Security Council with regard to Israeli's attacks against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, the National News Agency reported.
The decision came in a meeting for the council to discuss several problems regarding different issues including tensions between Israel and Hezbollah on the Lebanese borders.
The Israeli army said that it conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah's observation posts in Lebanon overnight Wednesday, after "shots were fired" toward soldiers from across the border.
