This year is Leng Juzhen's fifth year as an official assigned to Xiaonanhe to aid the poverty-reduction drive. Through the efforts of Leng and other village officials, all poverty-stricken households in Xiaonanhe shook off poverty in 2018. In recent years, Leng has been leading the villagers to develop rural tourism and agricultural products business such as chili sauce, cage-free chickens and eggs. In 2019, Xiaonanhe Village was listed as one of the first batch of national key villages for rural tourism.
