JAKARTA, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 3,128 within one day to 190,665, with the death toll adding by 108 to 7,940, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.
According to the ministry, 2,220 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 136,401.
The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 877 new cases, East Java 326, Central Java 258, West Java 228 and Riau 178.
No more new positive cases were found in four provinces, namely Jambi, Bangka Belitung, Central Kalimantan and North Maluku. Enditem
