DOHA, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Qatari health ministry on Sunday announced 231 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total confirmed number in the Gulf state to 120,095, official Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
Meanwhile, 218 more recovered from the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 116,998, while one more fatality was reported, raising the death toll to 203, according to a ministry statement quoted by QNA.
The ministry reiterated the need to take preventive measures, including staying home and observing social distancing.
A total of 660,008 persons in Qatar have taken lab tests for COVID-19 so far. Enditem
