JAKARTA, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- A passenger boat fire that occurred on Tuesday in the Indonesian province of West Kalimantan killed two people, local authorities said on Wednesday.
The accident that killed a father and his toddler took place on the Kuala Punggur waters in Kubu Raya district, the Pontianak Search and Rescue Agency's head Yopi Haryadi said, cited by state-news agency Antara.
Haryadi said authorities are investigating the cause of the fire on the boat that regularly transports people from Sepok Laut village in Sungai Kakap sub-district, Kubu Raya district. Enditem
