MEXICO CITY, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Mexico reported 5,573 COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking its national total to 726,431, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.
Meanwhile, 399 additional deaths were reported, bringing the death toll from to 76,243, the ministry added.
Mexico's government plans to formalize its participation in the COVAX Facility, a global initiative to ensure equitable access to any vaccines against COVID-19, Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said on Tuesday. Enditem
