Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in south China has made significant progress in poverty alleviation through transport infrastructure constructions. By May this year, the total length of rural roads in Guangxi had reached 102,100 kilometers, with all townships and villages having access to cement roads. The region has made significant headway in poverty alleviation and rural revitalization. Statistics from the regional poverty-relief office show that Guangxi lifted 1.25 million people out of poverty and delisted 1,268 poor villages in 2019.
