CHENGDU, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- China's national team center Han Xu improved her career-high scoring record to 33 points as Xinjiang tamed Tianjin 112-56, while Beijing labored to a 79-78 win over Dongguan in the Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) league here on Wednesday.
Han was unstoppable in the paint, shooting 13 of 20 from the floor to go along with 12 rebounds. Chen Mingling added 18 points off the bench.
Xinjiang established a 33-14 lead after the first quarter, before extending its halftime advantage to 35 points.
Xinjiang's bench players continued their momentum after the interval, and the league's powerhouse cruised to a 56-point victory.
A different scenario took place in the match between Beijing and Dongguan, as it was decided in the final seconds.
Beijing went ahead 43-27 at halftime, but Dongguan roared back in the second half and regained its lead through the efforts of Dilana Dilishati and Shen Yi.

Shi Xiufeng scored 19 points for Beijing, while Tang Yu added 17. On the Dongguan side, five players managed double-figure points, led by Shen's 19.
