BOGOTA, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- The number of COVID-19 infections in Colombia has reached 1,025,052, with 9,167 new cases registered in the last 24 hours, Colombian health authorities said Monday.
Meanwhile, 194 more deaths were reported, raising the nationwide death toll to 30,348, the authorities said, adding 924,044 people have so far recovered from the disease.
On Monday, representatives of the medical personnel of Colombia held a demonstration at a plaza in Bogota, where they paid tribute to those who have lost their lives in the battle against COVID-19. Enditem
