ULAN BATOR, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia on Tuesday confirmed one more COVID-19 case, taking its total tally to 340, according to a statement by the country's health ministry.
The latest confirmed case is one of 70 Mongolian nationals who returned home from Russia via the Altanbulag border point last week and were under quarantine in the capital Ulan Bator, the ministry said in a statement.
All the confirmed cases were imported, mostly from neighboring Russia.
Among the confirmed cases, 312 people have recovered, and eight of the remaining 28 patients are in serious condition, according to the ministry.
The Asian country has not seen COVID-19 related deaths or local transmissions so far. Enditem
