Vietnam records no new COVID-19 cases, 1,180 in total

HANOI, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam reported no new cases of COVID-19 infection on Sunday, with its total confirmed cases standing at 1,180 with 35 deaths from the disease so far, according to its Ministry of Health.

The ministry also announced that as many 1,063 patients in Vietnam have been given all-clear as of Sunday.

Meanwhile, nearly 14,700 people are being quarantined and monitored in the country, the ministry said.

Vietnam has gone through 60 straight days without any new COVID-19 cases in the community, according to the ministry. Enditem
