YANGON, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar reported 1,476 more COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the country's tally to 92,189, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health and Sports.
A total of 31 more COVID-19 deaths were also reported in the country on Tuesday, bringing the death toll to 1,972, the statement said.
According to the ministry's figures, 71,343 patients have been discharged from hospitals so far.
A total of 1,182,735 samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far, the ministry's figures said.
