BEIJING, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Chinese action crime film "Caught in Time" remained at the top seat of China's box office chart on Thursday, grossing about 6.35 million yuan (0.97 million U.S. dollars), data from China Movie Data Information Network showed Friday.
U.S. animated comedy film "The Croods: A New Age" took the second spot, generating about 4.67 million yuan. It has pocketed 157 million yuan since its Nov. 27 debut, the data showed.
Coming in third was "One Second," a domestic feature directed by renowned Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou, which earned around 3.96 million yuan after a week of screening.
Box office revenue totaled 21.1 million yuan Thursday, a slight decline compared with earlier days this week, according to the network. Enditem
