ROME, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Cristiano Ronaldo marked his 100th appearance in a Juventus jersey with a brace as the Bianconeri beat Genoa 3-1 on Sunday, while Theo Hernandez helped AC Milan survive a home scare.

After a goalless first half, Paulo Dybala put Juve in front right in the 57th minute as La Joya scored his maiden goal in the Serie A this season with a left-foot finish.

Genoa found the equalizer on the hour mark when former Juve player Stefano Sturaro scored a volley.

The Old Lady restored the lead 15 minutes later as Juan Cuadrado was brought down in the box, and Ronaldo stepped up to convert the penalty.

Ronaldo completed his brace before the final whistle with another spot-kick.

Milan almost suffered its first defeat of the season but Theo's brace including a late equalizer rescued the Rossoneri from a home defeat against Parma.

The Diavolo were 2-0 down after 56 minutes, but Hernandez pulled one goal back with a header on Hakan Calhanoglu's corner.

It was not finished yet, Milan's pressure paid off deep into stoppage time, as Ante Rebic's attempt was blocked, but Hernandez collected the rebound to drill home.

Milan continue to lead the table with 27 points, but the advantage over second-placed Inter Milan was cut to just three points.

Nicolo Barella scored a stunner and set up another, helping Inter register a 3-1 comeback win over Cagliari.

Cagliari broke the deadlock before the interval as Riccardo Sottil smashed in a volley from a tight angle after his first attempt was blocked.

The Nerazzuri got back on level terms in the 77th minute when Cagliari's goalkeeper Alessio Cragno meekly pushed Stefano Sensi's corner into Barella's path who smashed in a first-time volley.

Inter quickly rode the momentum seven minutes later as Barella whipped in a cross from the right, and Danilo D'Ambrosio, who came off the bench just one minute earlier, steered his header into the net.

The away side sealed the match in the dying minutes as Romelu Lukaku went on a solo-run, dribbling past Cragno and sending the ball into the empty net.

Also on Sunday, Roma crushed Bologna 5-1, Napoli came from behind to beat Sampdoria 2-1, and Atalanta enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 home win over Fiorentina. Enditem
