YANGON, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Public participation plays the main role in the conservation of endangered wildlife species such as Great Hornbills in Myanmar, U Khin Maung Hlaing, Deputy Director of Bago Region Forestry Department told Xinhua.

The Great Hornbill, scientifically known as Buceros bicornis, is a toucan-like bird that can reach a length of 130 cm and weigh up to four kilograms.
