Liang Pan, who once failed the high school entrance examination, is now a teacher at Chongqing Technician College of Railway Transportation. From a secondary vocational school student, a layman in electronics to an expert and a world champion, it took Liang Pan 6 years to fulfill the dream. The working experiences at a very young age made Liang Pan realize the importance of mastering a skill and cherish the opportunity of learning at school again. Thanks to years of hard work and high-intensity training after he returned to school, at the age of 22, Liang Pan became the first in China to win the gold medal in Electronics at the 45th WorldSkills Competition held in Kazan, Russia in August 2019. After winning the world championship, Liang Pan received job offers from many enterprises, but he decided to teach at school and be a coach for the training team of the WorldSkills Competition. "I hope to continue to improve my skills and, at the same time, train more talents in the electronic technology industry for the country, so as to help more young people realize their dreams and change their lives."
