YUANYANG, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- The landscape of Honghe Hani Rice Terraces is marked by spectacular terraces that cascade down the slopes of the towering Ailao Mountains to the banks of the Honghe River.
It is a masterpiece of man-made work combined with nature. The history of Hani people using a terrace field for farming can date back to over one thousand years ago. The field we see now is the work of several generations.
