Noting that China and Poland have different historical and cultural backgrounds, Wang said it is normal for them to share different views on some issues and China, in the spirit of mutual respect and trust, is willing to continue expanding dialogue and communication with Poland to build up mutual trust.

Nothing that Poland is a big country in Central and Eastern Europe and an important EU member, Wang said China attaches great importance to Poland's key role in China's cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries and the EU, and expects more contributions from Poland.
As part of China-EU cooperation, China-CEEC cooperation has always been open and transparent, contributing to the development of CEECs as well as Europe's integration process, said Wang.
For his part, Rau said Poland always highly values the development of the Poland-China comprehensive strategic partnership, firmly adheres to the one-China policy, and upholds the principles of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries among other norms of international relations.
Poland hopes to work with China to work out a blueprint for future high-level exchanges, deepen practical cooperation, and export more Polish products to China, said the minister. Poland pins much significance on the role of the China-CEEC cooperation in boosting and supplementing Poland-China and EU-China relations, he said, adding that Poland stands ready to continuously and actively participate in the important platform of pragmatic cooperation in a bid to achieve greater development of Poland-China and EU-China relations. ■
