Fireworks light up the night sky of Wellington, capital of New Zealand on Jan. 24, 2021 in commemoration of the upcoming Wellington Anniversary Day on Jan. 25. Wellington Anniversary Day, a public holiday for people living in the capital city area, is celebrated on the Monday nearest to Jan. 22 every year.
