ZHUJI, China, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- Miroslav Radulica scored a game-high 26 points to help the Zhejiang Lions edged the Sichuan Blue Whales 112-108 in the 2020-21 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) season here on Wednesday.
Hu Jinqiu finished with 24 points, nine rebounds and three assists for Zhejiang, while point guard Feng Xin added 19 points and five rebounds.
It was a tit-for-tat game for both sides until Marcus Georges-Hunt was fouled out after having a team-high 23 points. Zhejiang expanded the lead through Feng Xin's 3-pointer in the last minute to seal the victory.
Center Hamed Haddadi hit double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds for Sichuan, while Yuan Tangwen got nine assists.
"It was not easy. Our players controlled the pace well and seized the best moments to shot. In that way, we scored five more points on penalty shots and six fewer mistakes than our opponents. Those are the reason why we could win the game," said Zhejiang head coach Wang Bo. Enditem
