BEIJING, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Dalian Pro is preparing for the new season, the Chinese Super League club said on Monday in a statement issued after a rumor surfaced that its investor is considering pulling out.
"Dalian Pro club, with its first team, reserve team, and other teams of different ages, is preparing for the competitions of the new season," read the club's statement.
It is established that Dalian Pro issued this statement in response to an unconfirmed report about its investor Wanda Group.
Wanda Group has made it clear that they will discontinue providing investment and sponsorship to the Dalian Pro club, the report said on Monday.
