SHIJIAZHUANG, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Shijiazhuang, capital of north China's Hebei Province, reported one new locally-transmitted confirmed COVID-19 case in the first 14 hours of Tuesday, according to a local official.
The case was reported from a designated quarantine venue in Gaocheng District, Vice Mayor Meng Xianghong said, adding that no new asymptomatic cases were reported.
As of 2 p.m. Tuesday, the city had reported 866 locally-transmitted confirmed cases since Jan. 2, of which 292 cases are still under treatment. ■
