CHANGCHUN, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- FAW Jiefang, a truck subsidiary of China's leading automaker FAW Group, sold 79,100 trucks in January, up 27.87 percent year on year.
FAW Jiefang used livestreaming and short videos as marketing tools during the epidemic, and has come out with new vehicles that have been embraced by the market.
A total of 70,200 heavy-duty trucks were sold in January, up 33.68 percent year on year.
Founded in 1953 and headquartered in the northeastern province of Jilin, the state-owned FAW Group is known as the cradle of China's auto industry. ■
