GUANGZHOU, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Swedish international Gustav Svensson will start his second stint with Guangzhou City FC after he signed a one-year contract with the Chinese Super League club.
"Our club has reached an agreement with Mr. Gustav Svensson on his joining. He will wear the number 13 jersey in the new season," Guangzhou City FC, formerly named Guangzhou R&F, announced on Friday.
The 34-year-old defender previously joined the Guangzhou-based club in 2016 before moving to the United States to spend four seasons with MLS club Seattle Sounders FC.
The Chinese Super League 2021 campaign is set to kick off on April 20. Enditem
