FENGJIE, April 27 (Xinhua) -- The Yangtze River runs from west to east in China, cutting through the Wushan Mountains at three places and forming the well-known Three Gorges: the Qutang, the Wuxia, and the Xiling gorges. The Qutang Gorge is about 8 kilometers long but famous for its magnificent and precipitous scene. A special scenic spot has been established in Fengjie County to help tourists enjoy the grand view.
