RAWALPINDI, Pakistan, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The Jamia Mosque in Rawalpindi of Pakistan's Punjab province is illuminated as the Eid al-Fitr festival is drawing near.

Eid Al-Fitr, also called the "festival of breaking the fast," marks the end of the month-long fasting of Ramadan.
