RAWALPINDI, Pakistan, May 12 (Xinhua) -- People prepared for Iftar, the fast breaking meal, at a mosque during Muslim's fasting month of Ramadan in Rawalpindi of Pakistan's Punjab province.

The Eid al-Fitr festival, also called the "festival of breaking the fast," marks the end of the month-long fasting of Ramadan.
