WUHAN, May 14 (Xinhua) -- A tornado on Friday night injured many people in Wuhan in central China's Hubei Province, local authorities said.
The tornado, packing winds of 23.9 meters per second, ripped through the Caidian District at 8:39 p.m., toppling some construction site sheds and snapping a large number of trees, according to the district government.
The government said many were injured but the exact number is yet to be verified. Enditem
