SUZHOU, China, May 16 (Xinhua) -- After two goalless draws with Shanghai Shenhua and Changchun Yatai, Shanghai Port thrashed Dalian Pro 3-0 to take its third win in the Chinese Super League (CSL) new season here on Sunday.

Shanghai took the lead in the 19th minute through Lv Wenjun's follow-up header, after Brazilian striker Ricardo Lopes failed to head in the accurate cross from Li Shenyuan.

In the 38th minute, the 30-year-old Brazilian midfielder Oscar jinked the opponents and smashed in a rebound with a powerful right-footed long shot, putting Shanghai 2-0 ahead.

The second half saw Dalian fight back. However, Oscar earned and converted a spot-kick in the 90th minute, after being tackled down by Tong Lei.

On Monday, Tianjin JMT FC will take on Wuhan FC, and Changchun Yatai faces Shanghai Shenhua. Enditem
