A new freight train service between China and central Asia has been launched, connecting Zhuzhou, the city of central China's Hunan Province with Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan.
The freight train is fully loaded with 50 standard containers of goods worth 5.2 million U.S. dollars.
The train leaves China through the Horgos Port in Xinjiang and passes Kazakhstan before reaching to the destination
In the first five months this year, a total of 2,495 freight trains has passed through Horgos Port to the European and central Asian countries, which marks the increase of 61.8 percent from a year earlier.
